me and Killian got wind of the solar storm and decided to drive out of town in hopes of catching a few minutes of activity. Right after getting outside of Eagle River the sky danced for us for over an hour while we drove, sometimes even brighter more defined then this shot. Then we got to a nice overlook and spent almost two hours eating, chilling, and watching the northern lights dance.

I spent New Years watching fireworks on the frozen lake, about 5 different near by houses firing off huge displays. I guess since it’s so bright in the summers, during 4th of july that folks up here go all out on new years. This went on for hours.
